Hard-Rock Co. Ridgemount Quarry
MASHA is able to confirm that a fatality in the aggregate sector occurred at Ridgemount Quarry near Fort Erie on January 21, 2008. One worker was fatally injured while working on a crusher. A second worker received non-fatal injuries. The workers were employed by Hard-Rock Co. The incident is under investigation.
This report has been confirmed by two independent sources. However, the report is intended to provide early notification, and information may be at variance with official investigation reports.
