Unimin Nephton
MASHA is able to confirm that a fatality in the mining sector occurred at the Unimin Nephton mine near Havelock in Eastern Ontario on February 27, 2006. One worker was fatally injured in an ore bin.
The Nephton operation produces nepheline syenite.
The accident is under investigation.
