Kirkland Lake Gold
MASHA is able to confirm that a fatality in the mining sector occurred underground at Kirkland Lake Gold mine on December 14, 2005. One worker was fatally injured when he fell while working in a raise.
The accident is under investigation.
This report has been confirmed by two independent sources. However, the report is intended to provide early notification, and information may be at variance with official investigation reports.
